Consultation

We recommend booking a consultation where we can discuss more thoroughly if you are looking to add volume and density or if you are looking for volume and length. We will also discuss how much hair you will need to order based on the amount of hair you have and your current length. Our consultations include getting an accurate quote, discussing a customized length, and color matching the extensions to your hair.

Installation

We use volume weft extensions and tape ins that are perfect for adding fullness, volume, and length to your hair. We’re able to customize the amount of hair installed to perfectly match your density, so for our finer haired clients, our extensions won’t feel too heavy. Our extensions can also add extra dimension to your hair by adding in multiple tones. Just like any other hair service we offer, extensions are totally customized for only YOU!

Maintenance and Removal

Maintenance will need to happen every 5-7 weeks depending on how quickly your hair grows. We will remove and refit your extensions during this service. We can completely remove or replace your extensions. Our expert stylists will always inform you when they believe it is the best time to take a break!

Volume Weft Care at Home

Leaving the salon with brand new extensions and wondering what to do next? We’re here to help! At-home care is vital to protect the integrity of the hair. Let’s make sure your new hair stays shiny and lasts a while!

Brushing

Use a boar bristle or wet brush daily to remove any knots or tangles. Begin brushing from the ends carefully working your way up toward the scalp. Brushing your hair before it gets wet will keep the hair from tangling while washing.

Washing

Brush extensions thoroughly before washing to remove any tangles. Now that your hair is thicker, you may decide to divide the hair into two sections on either side of the head to wash or multiple ponytails and wash section-by-section. Use a sulfate-free and paraben-free shampoo and conditioner. Begin shampooing at the scalp and massage shampoo into hair using “Z” formation. Do not use a circular motion or flip head upside down as this causes tangles. Apply conditioner from mid-shaft down to the tips of your hair and leave on for 2-3 minutes. NOTE adding conditioner at or near the point of attachment may lead to sliding out.

Drying

Towel or air dry your hair as much as possible before using a blow dryer. The use of leave-in conditioners, heat protectants, as well as treatment oils from mid shafts to ends is recommended to protect your extensions.

Styling Tools

Volume weft hair extensions are safe to use with thermal tools like curling wands, flat irons, etc. You may use between 270-450 degrees Fahrenheit on your extensions as long as proper heat protectants are applied before styling.

Swimming

Before swimming, wet your hair with fresh tap water and apply a small amount of leave-in conditioner to the ends. Tie in a loose ponytail or braid. Once you are finished swimming, rinse the extensions with fresh water and spray with leave-in conditioner. Avoid use of chemical-based sunscreens as this can discolor the hair. For best results, use mineral-based sunscreens only.

Sleeping

Brush hair gently and loosely braid before sleeping. Do not go to bed with wet hair as it can cause tangling close to the scalp.
